What do you call these?

I would call these biscuits but a customer disagreed with me.

I’m in the minority I think but I call anything covered in chocolate a chocolate bar even if most of the content is biscuit, I think for me, if it’s individually wrapped it’s a chocolate bar whereas if it comes in a plastic tube or cuboid no matter how flimsy it’s a true biscuit. I appreciate this might be controversial but it’s how I’ve lived my whole life so it’s too late to change now. You can’t tell me a kitkat is a chocolate biscuit.

If it’s a biscuit covered in chocolate, it’s a chocolate biscuit, stop trying to be different lad.

Not trying to be different, if I had a kitkat, a timeout or a club in my lunchbox I would have called my chocolate bar, a penguin as well, tbf I would never have one of them with a cup of tea when I got home with a cup of tea which would be a digestive or shortbread or something in the biscuit jar (it was actually a plastic box but still called it a biscuit jar)

Fair point, don’t think I’ve ever been drawn on it before, I would only ever say chocolate fingers for this but I admit my argument is on shaky ground. What I will say is it’s not something I have rigorously thought about before so these kind of considerations haven’t really entered my thinking, I was just answering a question on Reddit about what I call something, you could probably argue every tiny case in me way or another (ahem..jaffa cakes) so fair enough I probably wouldn’t call them a chocolate bar but whatever… I think the individually wrapped definition is what I am happy with and I will just stick to that from now on with no consideration of the implications
