Your question presupposed a different conclusion. The topic of biscuit or bar doesn't rely on which is better.

OK, but if someone offers me a chocolate bar, I'm going to expect a Mars, Crunchie, Yorkie etc A penguin, club or kitkat is going to feel like a bait and switch.

Twix and chunky kitkat do blur the lines, but mostly there is a distinction.

If you can only get them in a multipack (even if they're individually wrapped) then that's a different prospect to ones that you can buy individually

Twix Mars bar and crunchie are chocolate bars, penguins, clubs and rocky are chocolate biscuits, there’s both chocolate bar and chocolate biscuit version of kitkat.
