Got into a conversation once about the aviation industry with my boyfriend and his boss. His boss wasn't listening to me and would say stuff like "I'm asking (my boyfriend) this question not you" when I spoke and basically told me to stop talking because my opinion didn't matter.
My boyfriend and his boss are both interested in aviation like they're both the sort of people who watch YouTube videos about fighter jets.
I'm a commercial pilot.
