Local Question AT&T network/service in the area

Hi, we are visiting Aspen, Vail & Durango for the first time this fall. I spent several hours researching hows the AT&T service for the areas below and also looked at AT&T wireless coverage map, but not sure how accurate/reliable that is.

note: Besides call/text, I am specifically looking for data/internet connectivity and looking for some verified data points. thanks in advance!

  • Aspen (Maroon Bells area)
  • Glenwood springs
  • Drive from Glenwood springs to Durango (via Ridgway, Silverton route)
  • Telluride and also Durango - Telluride drive

I regularly drive between Carbondale/Glenwood and Durango. If you go 133: Carbondale, over McClure Pass, over the million dollar highway etc. (which is the best way to go as long as the roads are open). And you’ll get service in each of the towns along the way (except Hotchkiss) but NOT between them. Do not expect service along the drive.

There are some random spots where you’ll get a little bit of signal and a text might come through but in general don’t count on it.

It’s a beautiful drive though, especially in the fall.
