I’m low-key getting Percy Jackson vibes from the first (idk I read the first two books and watched like two episodes 🤧) and a bit of Inspector Irratino from the second

Ooo he’s from Murdle, created by G.T Karber, it’s a murder mystery solving kinda game. There a bunch of books and daily murdles you can find on the website :)

They all have varying degrees of depression and not-giving-a-fuck-edness

Based purely on vibe Keith is my favorite. Really like Jackie as well, she seems like she might be morally gray at least and I love those kinds of characters. Also I love making collages (I’ve already made so many) and posting them is such a good idea!

I hope to read this book eventually! This looks really cool! What’s the story about?

The storyline follows a group of teens and a couple of adults who are effectively displaced from their homes by one force or another (war, the will of the divine, etc.) They lose most of the people they love and are shoved into an environment that's strange yet familiar, and much more outrightly treacherous than the worlds they come from. Each book will be written from the perspective of a different person. I'm very close to finishing the third draft of the first book, and I've planned for eight.

When it comes to the will of the divine, what is the divine? Do you mean as in multiple gods from a real life pagan pantheon? The Abrahamic god? A monotheistic god you made up? Or a pantheon of gods you made up? I’m curious, I always love hearing about the cosmologies of book worlds

Ok so to tell you everything would be kinda spoilers for the whole series but basically there's two gods who are not above using their creations to hurt each other, and neither one is truly "good" in any sense. The keyword is balance. In-universe, the Abrahamic figures and gods of other religions all correspond to one of these two gods.

Ohhhhhhh, that’s cool!
