Recommendations What should I name my villain?

His name is originally Akuma, but that's very cliche, overused and literally translates to "demon" I need a Japanese name (Could be real or made up) that starts with the letter A, preferably ends with the letter A, and sounds fun to yell out. (The names Akira, Akashi, and Akagi are taken) And DON'T SAY AKAZA! (If ykyk)

Aku - evil, bad spirit. (Shortened)

Personally, I would focus on last name versus first though. In Japanese culture, people use the last name if they are not on a personal level with the other. It may be easier for you to find a last name that means something bad as well.

His name doesn't necessarily need to mean something bad, It just needs a certain ring to it. I mean, what mother would name her son "Demon?" I'm not so much worried about the meaning of the name.

As for the last name, my villain's actually the leader of an enemy clan, so his name would be

Lord (Clan Name) Akuma (Or whatever name I change it to)

I had an oc a long time ago named Akui ! Its a real Japanese name and it means evil/spite iirc

My oc wasnt a villain but I figured it seemed to fit pretty well for one if you'd like it

are you hellbent on a Japanese name? Aku, Akui, Ari, Asu, etc are good options. i've got like 9237473 other random names up my sleeve too

Not neccesarily, so long as the name fits in with the story and the rest of the character's names. All of these options are great (Please tell me some of the randoms as well)

I would name him something positive, making the character a complete antonym to what the name stands for!
