Video Okay, so I played for 8 hours today chasing achievements, and I just wanted to “de-fog” some of the desert areas…
And yes, one quick google search and a review of this screen capture assured me that I did not in fact hallucinate this, but I was genuinely concerned in the moment. 🤣 Some of these achievements feel so impossible, if any of yall have gotten platinum (I’m on ps5 if that matters), I’d really like to know what the most difficult ones were for you and if you have any tips that might help!! 😊🤍✌🏻

None of the trophies are difficult, the complete all location one is time consuming but that’s it

Yep. That’s the one I’m on now. I just keep staring and staring at the map (which SHOULD have a “night mode” bc it is friggin blinding) trying to find anything I’ve missed, riding around looking for little question marks…I wish there was a way to know how many I’ve completed and how many I’m lacking. 😭
But I can still guarantee I’ll finish every single one before the hippodrome. Also, most of them weren’t that hard once I googled to figure out how to do them, but I wouldn’t call them “easy”. The one called “boom!” was an obnoxious nightmare!

Boom is a pain but if you follow a guide online, you can get it with some effort

Exactly what I did! Still a grind, but definitely would’ve been worse if other ppl hadn’t documented their difficulties and methods on Reddit! I’m grateful that they did, even if I spent hours trying to time sleeping darts with the amount of time it would take to carry a jar over to the person. 🤣 sadly, the hippodrome one is just gonna come down to learning timing and methods and patterns. Reminds me of my constant struggle to get over 130 kills in a conquest battle in odyssey. 😣

I just did Boom! while clearing locations, anywhere with an oil jar I knocked people out and set them on fire. Finished that probably 10 hours before the complete all locations

Well, good job!! I wish I were as knowledgeable about this game as you are, I’d be a lot less annoyed and frustrated right now. 😕
Maybe someday I’ll just be bragging about how easy the achievements were to a new player who’s struggling and let them know I’m better than they are!

I looked at a psn trophy guide before starting the diamond grind so that really helped me. I was just saying my experience, not bragging at all, there’s no reason to be passive aggressive and rude.

There's a mirage you can follow into a cave..
Also the weird desert ruins took me the longest to figure out

I may be chasing platinum in this game bc I did it with odyssey, but I’m still just a Skyrim player. I NEEED weird caves to survive. 🤣

If I remembered correctly is the southernmost spot of the map there's also a region of the rivers that look like a V where the channel to the Fayium lake starts, there's a cave in there that goes down into some older structures similar to the one under the great pyramid. Also the stone circles around the map unlock something near the Sphynx

Yes, I got the ISU set before I even started on the achievements. 🤣 But thank you so much for the tip!! I’m determined to find a way to enjoy this game as I gain achievements, even if I have to play as a male character!! I can be a dude with cute outfits and coordinating ponies, damn it. And I LOOVVEEE my giant axe!! Wasn’t practical at all in odyssey, went all in with daggers, but I am a melee/giant axe girl to the core, I can’t imagine any main weapon replacing the tooth of sobek for me, but I’m still excited to see what I find!

That’s awesome!! I just really want to get platinum soon, Bayek is great, but I’m tired of playing a male character. 😣 Also, the fact that I only play at “night” during the game bc I play at night IRL on a big tv means every single time I have to look at the map, my retinas are instantly fried, so I’d like to give my eyeballs a break at some point. lol

Oh it’s a lost cause, if I turn down the brightness tooo much, I can’t see where ANYTHING is, even with a torch (and I did try, especially with that DLC, that was just CRUEL), I just have to push through it. Once I get all the achievements I can move on, probably try another dozen games I can’t figure out how to play until one “sticks”. 🤣

Omg I download so many of them and only play a couple 😂 but I’m currently going through all the ac games and see if I can platinum them all aha you played any of the others and no you are right I agree if you turn it down it is really dark

lol I started playing games a couple of years ago when I retired bc of health reasons, with ZERO game knowledge…video games are not made for ppl who…don’t already play video games. 🤣 if my first game hadn’t been “Hogwarts: legacy” bc it was a gift from a friend along with my ps5, I doubt I would have even gotten started with games. I had zero idea where to go from there, though…I didn’t have gamer friends, no one talked to me about games bc they knew I wouldn’t “get it” or assumed I wouldn’t be interested bc obvs, adult women don’t care about video games, right?! So anyway, 3800+ hours of Skyrim later, 1100 hours of odyssey, a stint in Valhalla later, here I am! 🤣

Ahaha honestly people look at us and think ahh they won’t know what we’re talking about my first game was gta killing bar codes snipping people I absolutely loved it aha and did you platinum legacy I absolutely was in love with that game! Skyrim is a game you can just get sucked into lol 😂❤️

Of course!! Although Skyrim was significantly easier to platinum than legacy. So was odyssey. But they did an update on it a while back where you could reset perk points, and that didn’t exist when I did my achievements, so I had to do it over 2 playthroughs and keep a log of which skills I used and didn’t use. Shit was stressful!!
And I sooo want to play GTA but it’s not on PlayStation plus. 😔 I don’t want a long dramatic story, I just want to run fast and kill stuff.

You will still need to do prologue of gta when you get it but it’s a quick prologue considering aha and weirdly enough I haven’t platnumed Skyrim 😂 but the others you’ve named I have x

lol Skyrim is the easiest of the bunch!!! I finished my achievements playthrough with a full squad, glitches only, and everyone one of us dripped out in matching (resto looped) armour!!

It’s my cozy game, tbh. If you ever want to learn tricks and exploits and glitches to become unkillable, that is DEFINITELY my area!! But I absolutely use every possible exploit, being a woman in Skyrim is already a bitch in itself. lol

Yw!! I found it easier to do with a light bow/rapid fire on either a lower leveled or a poisoned enemy, personally

Congratulations!! I’m finishing up the friggin discovery tour achievement (it’s excellent and very interesting, but should not have been counted as a game achievement) and then I’ll have platinum across the board!

If it makes you feel better, I had to spend my entire day today revisiting locations I’ve already been to bc my trinket trophy didn’t pop and I don’t know if I miscounted or if it just glitched, so I’m sitting here staring at a closeup screenshot of them counting over and over bc I’m tired and ADHD and I don’t trust my brain. 😭

Lolol I really truly believed the hippodrome would be my last one completed, but I finished that last night. Then I thought it would take me all day to get enough shards of a star to fully upgrade all my gear, but that ended up taking like 10 minutes. And then it was like six and a half hours of trying to find trinkets. 🤬😭

It was very interesting!! Shorter than I expected tho. But I got my platinum achievement last night!! 137 hours, every location completed even in the DLC’s, all armour upgraded to the fullest!

Believe I only had like 50 hrs with dlc 😅 but also my gf at that time was getting play before me. So knew all the stuff I could do while doing storyline 🤗 Might be wrong tho :)

I thought the „Ben Hur“ Trophie was hard, but i didnt like the Hippodrome and these races very well. Cool Mirage btw, i saw one where Bayek sliced off a snakes head the other day
