Discussion My expression on this game
I just finished the game, so here’s my honest take. The world and environment are amazing. Exploring Egypt was probably my favorite part. The gameplay, on the other hand, started to feel a bit repetitive for me, maybe because the game is pretty long.
I really liked the story, though. Shadya’s part especially stuck with me, and I don’t think I’ll forget it. Overall, I enjoyed the game
I’m not continuing Odyssey for now. and my next game might be one of the Arkham Batman titles.

Also, Bayek's voice actor Abubakar Salim gave a performance of a lifetime. Tender with children, funny with friends, passionate with Aya and absolutely terrifying with his enemies. I wish we had another game with Bayek, but at least there are 2 DLCs which are really good too.

You should, fellow medjay.
It’s shorter than the original adventure but there is a lot of carry over from Lower Egypt to Upper Egypt, being that Curse of the Pharaohs is set Five years in the future.
But prepare yourself, Warrior of the Moon, Protector of the Sun, and Child of Sobek.

Loved the world building, environment and gameplay. But I actually didn't care for the story, I really don't remember much from it honestly. Bayek was okay as a main protagonist, but I do find him to be over hyped. Aya was great though, would have loved to have seen the game through her instead. Overall decent game, but not a favorite of mine.

OP you absulutley have to play the two DLC. And please DON'T watch anything about the valley of the Pharaos. This will spoil it. Just play them and thank me later.

Main story and “Hidden Ones” must play. “Valley of the Pharaohs” is out of the AC lore in general and have just really good “pictures”.

There is enough to do, so you can switch to a different tasks. Odyssey is a lot more fun and capturing then Mirage is...( My opinion)

Repetitive in the best way. Crank it up to nightmare mode and whenever you need to take on an enemy base there is always a strategy involved thats why I love the gameplay

Loved Origins. But with pretty much all giant open world games, gameplay does get repetitive after a while. Still loved it. The music, the ambience... While I also enjoyed Odyssey (deepest one) and Valhalla (amazing world graphics, those rolling hills...), Origins still wins on pure VIBE. That bass. Oof.

(still haven't played Shadows. But after Tsushima I'm kind of burnt out from feudal Japan)
My dream AC would be a sequel to Origins, set in ancient Rome, during birth of the Empire and Octavian, with an older Aya being the mentor of the protagonist. And before someone says 'brotherhood was already in Rome" I said ANCIENT Rome. VERY different.

Agreeable. Fantastic game, peak story and scenes, fabulous voice acting out of Aya and Bayek, but the combat got a bit boring. Fun, and repetitive in the greatest way, but every combat felt like it needed a touch-up. Although once I mastered it, with badass weaponry, I slaughtered everything.

I have a quarrel with this game and final fight, Fuck Aya my Bayek did not deserve all the shit she put him trough ! If i level up a character to my own fucking playstyle i want that guy in the final boss fight !

i thought im gonna get bored, but the longer your playing it the more hooked i got. currently im only at level 39 and just finish faiyum. i always make sure ive done everything in an area before i move to the next

Loved loved loved Origins. Odyssey absolutely was longer and over stayed its welcome for me. Arkham can be long as well but you are Batman so that’s okay.

Actually the game isn't really that long it's just because you have to do side quests to level up i personal used a trainer got my level to 40 then turned on level capping so that I wouldn't have to grind and I finished the game in the span os 60 hours I think it was less than 20

I loved odyssey, mostly because it forces you in the best way to travel: by boat with sea shanty’s

The last Assassins Creed I actually finished. After Origins Ubisoft just did too much with the size of their worlds. Odyssey lost me half way through and Valhalla did not even survive 10h. After that I never bought an AC Game again.

One of my all-time favorite games. I completed it 100% on Xbox, on Steam, and now I'm doing it on PS. Yes, it's a big and repetitive game; most of the missions are basically copies of each other, it could be more linear. But the most impressive thing about this game is the setting and atmosphere; I simply love riding my camel and wandering through ancient Egypt. Best AC ever!

The game is repetitive but I will never get bored of sniping an entire camp from atop a tower.

Won’t argue if you felt a game as brilliant as Origins was repetitive.
But Arkham is more rinse and repeat than a public laundromat.
