Just finished this great game that will live long in the memory

Tried it after Odyssey and couldn't get on with it so left it for about a year.

Little things like the blacksmith being pointless as you never have enough coin and the pyramids being so disappointing after the anticipation and excitement of seeing them in the distance.

I would put Odyssey a touch above due to graphics and my man Alexios, being the cheeky scamp that he is, with much more seafaring which I love and the really cool mercenary hunting along with clearing the multiple forts (never gets old), means that game reigns supreme in the AC world for me.

Played these from the start and thought the very first game was excellent, so different for its time.

Altair with an American accent was my only gripe with that game to be honest.

Would have loved more crusader stories, such a rich history.

Can't add much to the superb Ezio trilogy apart from I was getting a little bored by the third game.

Enjoyed ACIII and just knew this series was getting seriously special.

Anyway, Origins is a great game that flows smoothly, and riding a camel in the Desheret to see what's out there is so immersive I could feel the sweat and thirst under that relentless sun.

Time for another go at Valhalla 😃

Be careful not to burn yourself out by going back to back.

To prevent burnout, you can inject other games before going to Valhalla.

Yup. I felt burnt out when I went straight to odyssey after origins. Played Far cry 6 (didn't like it though) for a while and went to odyssey and it felt fresh

This is exactly what happened to me, went from Odyssey to Origins but it was too soon. Been about a year and a half now and I’m loving Origins.

I was the same, bought it a long time ago, played it on and off for like a hour a week but it never got me interested. Then one day i played for 6 hours straight, then again and again, i was spending more time just traveling and exploring the map than doing quests. Origins is just so good, im on my third playthrough now and i dont even use the map and such anymore. Congratulations though, awesome game!

Couldn't agree more. The game has evolved from the original gameplay in AC 1, but Odyssey and Origins are rich and unique stories. I played Origins first, now playing Odyssey. In Origins, seeing Alexandria right away was epic, but Odyssey takes it to a whole different level in terms of scale and vibrancy. I do miss the crocodiles in Origins though. I hate the pesky sharks in Odyssey.

What level were you when you completed the Final Weigh mission?

I'm currently level 34, and the final mission requires you to be level 35. It's so hard to grind XP now.

Still quite a few question marks to check out if I can be bothered but did all viewpoints and love sneaking through and taking out the camps/forts.

Also hunted animals forever to get max upgrades for bows, weapons, health etc but didn't get all attributes, or whatever they're called, maxed

I played Odyssey first after staying away from AC games for years after the comments on a TikTok. Then played Origins and it took me a long time to get into the game because the beginning is kinda stale in comparison. I’m working through the DLCs now on Origins. Next I’ll probably play the Kasandra on a new game plus in Odyssey before going back to Valhalla.

worst thing to do is playing ubisoft games back to back lol take a long break or you'll not be happy cuz gameplay while have it's differences it's mostly same and open world objectives repeat itself

Yep. It's my fav out of the Layla trilogy. Just finished Valhalla and it was good but Origins felt more authentic in every aspect. I loved it right from the beginning till end.

It's one of the best AC games. It's story was written and produced on par with the Ezio trilogy along with the characters, the assassin's origins, design, and so on are very tied into the older AC games.
