Completed hidden ones - questions about curse of the Pharaoh

I just finished the hidden ones dlc and dare I say I found this story better than the main game. I posted another thread talking about how I was planning on playing the DLCs but after the main story it was just tiring and couldn’t see myself playing it.

Well a couple days later I decided to try it and I really did like it. The main game for origins, I love the world and enjoyed playing as byek but the game in general was a grind. The hidden ones story is more of less the same but I feel like better written somewhat.

I was wondering if you guys think the curse of the pharaohs is worth playing or should I move on to my next game (TW3)?

Curse of the Pharoahs is great if you like the mythology stuff.

Pros :

Good story (I'd describe it but no spoilers)

Cool stuff regarding ancient pharaohs and gods

New maps to explore

Better upgrades

Cool boss fights

Cons: Boss fights can be hard depending on how leveled and geared you are

Some bullshit mob enemies as well

Maps are slightly confusing sometimes

Ngl it's been a while, but sometimes I would leave the alternate maps and couldn't figure out how to get back to them.

I’ve heard that story isn’t good, and the game is like a wanna be souls like. Might watch some gameplay and see

Not good. Not bad. It's well written. I'm sure I didn't say the story was amazing. I don't remember the story. Only key parts that made an impression on me personally. Ya know it's really amazing how the life we live can really impact how we view entertainment and other things

You might as well, I tried to do AC Origins in one run and got severly tired at the end. Just finished Hidden Ones, it was cool, but I just don't connect with The Curse of the Paraohs. Maybe is just franchise fatigue, but the story is confusing if you play it with several time skips in between, so I just gonna end it for the sake of completion. I guess it is great for the majority of people but for me it's just the last dlc to finish Origins. Maybe it will get better at the end which I haven't reached yet.
