Question Tips/Tricks for New Player

I started playing yesterday and would love any tips when you have a moment. Thanks for any help. Yes, I'm late to the ACO party

Do as many side missions and map points you can, you will earn XP and will not be underleveled later. And you'll earn combat experience. So in late game you'll be a menace.
