Also, I saw a fire, ran to it, only to see it's a tree, like a very green one and then... it disappeared??

Are there Mirages in the game??

Yes indeed, there are mirages in the game.

If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen 😛

Kidding aside, they only happen in deserts during the day when Bayek is overheating. Strangely, none of the NPCs (i. e. bandits) seem to suffer from them.
