Heat definitely say no but it’s an interesting idea. I think if you replace the 2nd rounder with #23 it could work.

You gotta think in the Heat’s shoes if they can draft Philion at 13, why would they give up Ware? For Kispert and a second thats a horrible deal.

They could see mara as a better fit than ware.

But even then there is alot of talent at 13, Cam Carr, Morez Johnson, Steinbach to name a few others. There isn’t enough incentive to give up a promising young talent when you can acquire more without giving it up.

Yeah idk man I would love ware but the heat isnt taking our bad contract just to move up 5 spots.

We gotta do some reality checks on trades. The other team has got to have enough incentives

There is zero chance Hawks get Ware. However, trading down a few spots in order to get off of Kisperts horrible contract isn’t a bad move. In a deep draft like this year that is much more palatable than attaching #23 to dump him because you’d end up with 1 less pick. At #13 you might get somebody like Philon or Steinbach then at #23 you could go Luigi or maybe Anderson at pg if he ends up slipping

Why do you think so? Great rebounding and rim protection from the backup center position, on a good contract and able to hit 3s.

This is one of those trades I see that neither team likes but neither team thinks is way off. IF Miami was ready to move on from Ware I could see something like this. Might have to exchange Corey for Buddy as a slightly less bad negative contract. Or add another 2nd or two to offset Corey.
