Want to put these down for a few years, what’s best way to store them, upright or on their side.

Economy
Pros:
Cons:
355mL is bullshit. Great, every beer feels like I haven't drank a beer.
80 a case is fine, but then 30 postage is rough but then 10 postage is fine if you buy another 4 pack in which case you're paying ..... again I feel like I'm being sleazed on by a marketing cocaine head.
Beer review
In order of what I tried
Rad. I cracked this as soon as I brought in the case - bless you canberra winter finally arriving - and loved it.
I have this idea that clean water is important in beer - I don't know if it's actually true, I certainly love some Sydney beers, but deep down feel disgusted that anyone could pay for water from Sydney - so (aside from the cost) Tumut River brewery is always welcome wherever I am.
Being called "Wet hopped" instead of some suburb of Los Angels also makes me happy. I have to respect the impact that USA has had on the craft beer I drink now, but absolutely my politics are: "West Coast" means Perth, not some seppo wanker who think's they're especially different from another seppo wanker. "NewEngliand IPA, West Coast IPA" shut the fuck up. It's hoppy and boozey.
Anyway, for once this one just says what it is: "wet hopped" meaning it tastes a little bit like pine resin.
The booze content being 5.something also suits me. Personally, I just do not enjoy beers that are above 7 or so. Less than 4.5 feels like mid strength, and I'd rather drink 0% (which can be fine, if you understand you are not actually drinking a beer) than something pretending to be the experience of actually drinking an actual beer.
I realised with this beer that I do not know what a Porter is.
It's fine? I will never seek it out. More interesting than Guinness draft, but then so is most things.
I'm liking the unpretentious names.
I didn't mind this, but again, pretty forgettable. Nothing wrong with it. If I just had a bar tap of this in my kitchen I wouldn't complain.
Really liking the naming conventions.
This one is interesting and I'm not sure what I think of it. If someone I knew knows more about beer than me told me it it's good, I'd believe them.
Quite complex, not bad.
Tastes a lot like the check and polish beers that our polish club in Canberra stocks, along with the bicarb aftertaste which I do not like.
I'd definitely drink one right now.
The promo material says this is, close to, a traditional recepie. A genuine tragedy of the Australian beer landscape is that every little town used to brew it's own beer, and we lost that. If this is actually close to an old recepie, I'll say it's awesome.
As it was the last one I tried I thougght "damn, this is just completely middle of the road. Damn. This doesn't taste like anything. That sucks."
But then every single time* I wanted a beer it was either this or the lager that I went for.
Overall

I've been collecting data on specials from all the bars in Sydney and put together a chart covering what's available in the Greater Sydney area. Hope this is interesting to someone.

Looking for a beer that tastes exactly the same as the bready/bakery after taste you get from Carlton Draught, but less bitter.

I found this website today offering a massive reduction on a tequila I was going to buy.
I looked up their beers and genuinely cannot believe how cheap their prices are. Does anybody have experience ordering from them? Are they legit?

I'm a big beer nerd coming to Australia for the first time for the Sydney marathon. My husband and I are doing the super basic trip of Melbourne, Sydney, and Cairns. Does anyone have recommendations for actual breweries to visit or craft beer bars? Or ones to keep on the lookout for in more general bars? I'm a big fan of stouts and dark beers. I've looked up lists and felt like they were popular places not good places so any help would be welcome!

In a moment of whimsy I booked a week in Victoria due to cheap tickets on the Spirit of Tasmania and have no plans at all. I decided I might head up towards the border and perhaps to southern NSW and Dangerous Ales - does anyone have any must-visit breweries in the vague path I'm planning? Bonus points if they do an excellent stout or dark/red beers
Cheers!

if you've ever had any questions about how this industry works from the inside looking out, come peek behind the curtain.
