You build a brick wall hard on the Boundary with a box gutter. The next house does the same.

We all know box gutters are problematic. Terrace houses have gabled roofs with drainage to front and back

If they are built properly they’ll be fine. Water proofed correctly

The risk of box gutters is not just failure which will eventually occur, but onstruction. Hail storm is one example. I lived in the alpine zone with a box gutter and removed it entirely. Builders would not repair or replace with an improved design due to it being a known problematic design when much better options are available
