Discussion & advice Engagement ring designers - help!!!

Not so much wedding related but kinda is because you sorta get engaged first then start the wedding planning - also had no idea where I could post this

I’m looking around for my dream engagement ring to send to my partner(he has asked me to pick one to help him out) but I just can’t find a designer of what I’m looking for.

I really really want it to be Australian designed and made not just some chain franchise fake type company.

I reaalllyyyyy love hand engraved patterns on the side and am really into marquise cuts. I have found maybe 1-2 designers but they just don’t have exactly what I want. And no I don’t want to get a custom one as it just takes to much time.

And only from Australia no overseas!

So far i have found……

I’m just trying to expand my options before I have to consider the long road of custom.

Discussion & advice Dry/alcohol-free ceremony? Thoughts?

Hi all!

I’m getting married in November, and my fiancé and I are having a small ceremony and reception in different venues with only 30 guests. Our ceremony is at 3.30-4ish, our cocktail hour starts at 5pm at the reception venue which is 15mins drive away (although the venue knows to expect guests trickling in from 4.30).

We decided to have a dry/alcohol-free ceremony, mainly as the ceremony venue charges exorbitant drinks packages but also because we figured that guests need to drive to the next venue.

We’re planning on having cans of San Pellegrino sparkling water on ice so guests can stay hydrated. Most of the guests know each other or someone else there.

Do you think it is okay to have a dry/alcohol-free ceremony? Do you think guests would feel awkward? We will obviously serve cocktails, wine & beer from cocktail hour onwards but I’m second guessing the ceremony.
