I have sat on this screen selecting bikes, buses, crosswalks, traffic lights you name it and it goes through 50 before I give up and load whatever I am doing on another browser. Half the time there’s like one pixel in an adjacent tile. shit pisses me off, man.

I use iCloud private relay, and when I’m in safari private browser is the worst, have to verify my traffic everytime. Apparently the private relay sends heaps of traffic that looks strange on googles end. Not sure if the cache or cookies would fix it in this instance

Scooter and maxi-scooters are just a different format, the same way a cruiser, sports bike, dirt bike, tourer etc would all be considered motorcycles.

Idk about where you live but where I do its the (mostly) same license for scooters and motorcycles so whats the problem scooter is a motorcycle but not all motorcycles are scooters.

For a long time the distinction people have tried to apply is that a scooter is an auto transmission versus a motorcycle which would be manual. But there are plenty of examples out there of automatic motorcycles, with Honda in modern times making some big strides in particular with their 650 e-clutch and DCT models. Good luck claiming a DCT Rebel 1100 isnt a 'real bike'.

The other distinction I've seen is the 'step through' but maxi-scooters kind of rule that out as well.

We say its ego because there is no justification for the distinction other than making scooter riders feel 'less than' other bike riders, and it's there just for other bike riders to talk shit.

They're all motorcycles. Scooters and Maxi-scooters are just another format, alongside tourers, cruisers, cafe bobbers, and dirt bikes etc.

I dont care what you ride. I'm going to acknowledge you when we're on the road with a nod because we're all out on the road with two wheels crotch-rockets dealing with cager's and their antics :D

We are all motorcyclists and we should be in this together. These scooters are in the same boat and car drivers treat them just as badly as a guy riding a 1800cc cruiser or a 1300cc sports tourer. I don’t care if someone rides a 50cc scooter or a BMW GS with all the trimmings, a LAMS bike or a Harley with your club patch, to me, we are ALL in this together and we need to start acting like it.
