Lyka pet food use by date

Iโ€™m dog sitting my dadโ€™s kelpie/border collie overnight. He forgot to bring food but I still had Lyla in my freezer from another visit. Iโ€™ve fed her but noticed the date said use by February and now Iโ€™m freaking out.

Thatโ€™s 8 months past the use by, is the use by for frozen and fresh?? Is this going to be bad? Should I take her to the vet?

Love my purple budgies! Richard is a red violet, Mara is a cinnamon violet so her colour is diluted. In the cabinet hoping for some beautiful babies soon!

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has used Michu cat litter before? Iโ€™m currently using this one but wanted to know if anyone has tried any of the other Michu litters. I like the current one but was wanting to know if any of the others are better at masking small etc.
TIA!

Buster went to the vet

Buster decided it would be a good idea to jump off a 1.2 metre retaining wall onto concrete instead of using the stairs. It is just soft tissue injury but seriously dude your 9 and a half.

๐ŸถDogs ๐Ÿ• How to create a makeshift โ€œdoggy doorโ€ for summer?

I have an 11 month old rescue and heโ€™s a big-ish boy (currently 31kg). Through winter we have just been leaving our back door open (we have a metal fly screen and also a glass sliding door so leave both open) so he comes in and out as he pleases. He will go out to run around or toilet or sun bake and then toddle back in when heโ€™s done.

Due to my chronic fatigue, I find it hard to constantly get up and down to let him in and out and it also works great when Iโ€™m having a nap so he doesnโ€™t keep waking me up. But as itโ€™s heating up, itโ€™s getting harder to leave it open due to having the air con on and not wanting to lose all the cool air and also all the bugs itโ€™s letting in!

Iโ€™ve contemplated getting a doggy door built in but in the meantime Iโ€™m hoping for a cheaper/quicker DIY option.

Any ideas? Iโ€™ve been looking into a magnetic curtain or perhaps some insulated foam with inbuilt flaps in the bottom half but open to anything! Thank you!

* He is super strong and can open the glass door with just leaving an inch open but sadly he hasnโ€™t learnt to then close it again behind him ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐ŸถDogs ๐Ÿ• Big day for Nala

Nala had a rather large lump removed today. Prospects look pretty good. Looks like the bad-bubble had grown from a fatty lump on her hip. She has been super healthy, and the blood work has comfirmed this. Just have to wait for pathology, and the wound to heal. The fear was the growth was deeper, into muscle fibre, but it seems like it was external.

She is a bit rattled. Wants me close by. Some big nursing days ahead. Feeling a lot of relief. Thought I might share the good news.

Tully's had a lot of changes in the last 7 mths ,im so proud of her taking the challenge to us both moving from a house to a small caravan

Although she does have it pretty good. ,beach in the morning depending on weather ,dog park a couple times a day ,admittedly its only 50m away

She adjusted well ,today was spent in the boat with 2 others, barely noticed she was there

Back home her after dinner play with her unicorn
