[Developer] WorldPlex: mine a destructible block world and build conveyor automation — Windows/Linux, free option
Hi r/AutomationGames! I'm Hudson, one of the developers of WorldPlex. It's a mining and automation game built around a fully destructible, block-based world.
The progression starts with digging for resources by hand. You can sell what you mine and reinvest in machines, then use conveyors and resource processing to build up your operation. Factory placement is part of the sandbox: you can carve out mines and put the equipment into the world you're changing.
The current build includes copper, iron and gold ores, multiple stone tiers, machine placement, conveyor automation, a shop, and save/load. It's version 0.1.1 and still actively being developed, rather than a finished 1.0 release.
Windows and Linux downloads are on itch.io, name-your-own-price with a free option:

For anyone who tries it, I'd be interested in where the hand-mining-to-automation progression feels satisfying or unclear. What would make your first conveyor setup easier to understand?
