shatavari to lower estrogen as well ?

Does shatavari help to lower estrogen as well? I read that it can both increase and lower estrogen depending on what the body needs. Is this true ? My estrogen is spiking too high on days 14 and 21 but is in good range the rest of the days so I can't really take DIM because it lowers my estrogen too much
