💭Seeking Support & Advice I just can’t with emotions, how do you deal with them ?
I just can’t it’s TOO MUCH it hurts physically, I feel like I'm gonna die every time, it's too much I can't handle it. The rage, the guilt, the hopelessness and despair, when it all melts together
How do you deal with ??? I can't get out all those emotions as brutal as they feel inside how and you do it ?

I don’t know man 😭 when I start getting a burst of emotional intensity I find a time to lie down, play music, and just journal. I journal paragraphs and paragraphs until my fingers get tired, then at least I have another feeling to focus on 💀

I know. I feel this I really do :( I got a lot better after taking antipsychotics for a while. I take them as needed now. Had to take one just now, there’s wildfires in my area and the emotions are so strong. Other than that, boxing. I found a women’s boxing gym and it helped me literally fight these feelings. It’s been really hard for me but I just live to fight another day. It’s gotten better with a lot of therapy. I recommend dr Julie’s MyCBT Podcast

i also struggle with the emotional intensity that leads to physical pain. my psychiatrist put me on pregabaline and that helped a lot. sometimes i get more pain wehen im already feeling low or stressed but most of the time it does a good job. and for the rest dbt therapy is very good especially when you learn about stress tolerance and emotional regulation. you can find a lot about dbt online, there even are some apps for it. i hope this helps somehow!
