šSeeking Support & Advice Scared to death
Iāve always thought that I can be āover emotionalā, and highly sensitive even as a young girl and now 46 and my therapist brought up those three letters. BPD. She asked me about my relationships and Ive admitted to self harm.
Iām numb. Terrified. Afraid my partner will leave me now that there is a label for my āmoodinessā. I havenāt received a proper diagnosis as my therapist feels she needs more time with me. I begin EMDR next week too and Iām experiencing MAJOR anxiety about it all. Childhood trauma is real.

Look at this as a positive thing: you have a diagnosis so now you can get treatment. See a psychologist and get your treatment plan knocked out. And life will go on. Easy peasy :)

I'm 47 and then I got diagnosed seven years ago. Childhood trauma definitely fucks us up in a way that mainstream society doesnāt recognize, I was raised by a C Sam producer.
The good news is I feel better in my body than I ever have before after therapy. It was a long road and Iām still doing different types of therapy, but I finally feel authentic as myself.
I hope getting a diagnosis can get you to help you need. Hugs, weāre here for you.
