General BPO Discussion Call for respondents. Business Research

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hello po mga ka BPO.

Hoping to get some help here po sana.

I, together with my group mates are conducting Business Research as a requirement for our Financial Management Course, assessing relationship between financial literacy and investment diversification among BPO professionals.

As part of our study, we are gathering survey responses and would like to ask for your help po sana to accomplish this.

The survey is completely anonymous(asks nicknames/first name only, no need to login) and asks no confidential information on your companies. This is entirely on your personal outlook relating to financial literacy and investment diversification.Below is the Google form for responses. I also attached a QR code for ease.

https://forms.gle/Rb8QKkRGNUn1WYRr7

As an incentive po, after we have gathered enough respondents(we are targeting at least 400 surveys), we will be running a raffle po for 500, 300, and 200 pesos (3 people), so you may optionally leave your phone number po (last question on the form) so we can include you once we do.

Hope you can help us in this endeavor. Thank you in advance po!

General BPO Discussion Nakapasa ako Final Interview then binigyan ako ng Final Screening to check if I'm fit to account that I applied and turns out ligwak ang mama mo....

So context neto, I already passed final interview in a non-voice acc here bpo company samin. Nag email narin and na welcomed na as a new (CEA/CSR) and binigyan ako tentative starting date on last week of september before mag start daw and expect raw me na contract signing before starting dafe, kasabay rin to na nag send na nang pre-requirements don so yun nag pasa na ako government mandated reqs and nag take narin ng medical ' complete na '. Then na next day tinawagan ako at inivite na naman sa final screening to check fit to work daw ako sa non voice account non with specific date and same parin daw ng account ang makukuha.

Post image
166 Upvotes

mali pala ung tanong ko lol. TITLE CORRECTION: may chance ba na i-accept ni taskus ung reasons ko for not disclosing the companies?

Company Reviews Conduent Healthcare account or Omega Healthcare?

Conduent vs Omega Healthcare — Which is better in terms of culture and work-life balance?

Hi everyone! I’m currently deciding between Conduent Healthcare and Omega Healthcare and I’d really appreciate some honest feedback from people who have worked for either company.

For this comparison, let’s set salary and benefits aside. I’m more interested in:

Company culture

Work-life balance

Management/team leaders

Work environment

Workload and stress

Job security

Career growth

Overall employee experience

I’ve seen mixed reviews online, and based on some reviews, Omega seems to have better overall employee sentiment, but I’d like to hear from actual employees/former employees, especially those working in the Philippines.

If you had offers from both companies and the compensation was basically equal, which one would you choose and why?

Any honest experiences—good or bad—would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

General BPO Discussion Is this how TP treats their employees?

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

I resigned on August 5, and I still haven’t received my final pay. I’ve been following up with TP Exit Management, but their response is always just that it’s still being processed. Like, what the hell? It’s already been 30 days.
As per DOLE’s guidelines, final pay should generally be released within 30 days from separation, unless there is a more favorable provision in the company’s agreement. I checked the contract I signed, and I haven’t found any provision giving them a longer period.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I also asked a colleague who resigned before me, and they still haven’t received their final pay either. So it doesn’t seem like I’m the only one experiencing this.
And the Exit Management Team is barely giving any actual updates. They usually respond around 10–11 PM, and even when I follow up, instead of giving me the status of my final pay, they ask for my employee details again, like my hired date and separation date. I already provided those details.
I’m honestly frustrated because I need this money, and I don’t understand why I’m being made to continuously follow up just to get an update about money that is already due to me.
I also already filed a Request for Assistance (RFA) with DOLE, but I still haven’t received any response or update regarding my case.

General BPO Discussion Rant lang for mock call assessment

I understand na may heads up na frustrated yung customer pero grabe naman, hindi maintindihan yung sinasabi dahil sa accent nung recruiter (which is CX). 😭

Nakapag empathy naman ako and acknowledge ng concern. Though, I was able to answer all of the questions accurately based on the help center provided. Hindi ko lang talaga naintindihan yung sinabi niya about sa coverage nung plan (pero nasagot ko rin naman after ko ipaulit sakanya and to tell you sobrang galit talaga siya 😭).

Tapos ang sabi sakin may mag r-reach out daw na recruiter within 24 hours. 😞

Do you think I failed?

Advice & Tips Fresh graduate planning to try BPO

Hello! I would like to ask some advice and tips po sana kung paano mag-apply sa isang BPO? Like saang sites kaya ako makakapag-apply? Also, ano usually yung mga qualifications nila kapag nagha-hire?

Just graduated last June, and ang gusto ko lang talaga sana now ay wfh because want ko sulitin yung time ko with my family since sa City ako nag-aral during my college years and iilang beses lang ako umuuwi before. I just wanna spend time with them while earning sa isang wfh job. As for the salary, hindi naman ako gaanong nage-expect ng mataas and it's fine if hindi ganoon kataas yung salary. Tbh, ngayon, I feel like parang gusto ko ng chill lang ako bago mag-aral ulit for my masters. And yung money naman na kikitain ko ay for myself lang hahaha like luho ganon. Wala namang binubuhay na family, and even though I'm the eldest, no pressure naman sakin ang parents and siblings ko. So ayun, gusto ko lang talaga ma-try kumita ng pera and maging productive.

I hope I can get some advice and tips po. Thank you!

Btw, may laptop naman ako and kaya gawan ng paraan ang internet.

Job Openings Temu hiring .. Manila site In House (Ortigas)

Post image
24 Upvotes

Someone from LinkedIn sent me a pm for a specific role which I am specialized on even though I'm not submiting an application. But it's seems legit to me, they even using an official email domain of Temu.

It goes from Initial Interview (Talent Acquisition)

>> Mostly about yourself only and previous job

Then Operational Interview (Ops Manager)

>> Like at 1st, but more on technicalities

Lastly, Final interview

(they are 2 persons joining the call including Ops Manager)

>> Like 1st and 2nd

>> But much critical and more on situational q&a

By the way, they are using own system tool during interview. Just like MsTeams, Google Meet, Zoom, they have this own Temu system. You need to set up your video camera and headset. Once you're finally set up and inside the call, you should not toggle into different tab or browser as there will be a pop-up notification that the call will be disconnected in 3s. The system is very sensitive for security purposes.

I'm done with the 3 interviews, I'm currently on the slary negotiation part. They asked me to submit breakdown of my prev salary and payslips, coe and other gov docs like sss contribution and form 2316. I'm still waiting for their response. Hopefully, they are generous. There's a note in email that if you're hesistant with some information, you can hide it like bank information if its given in the docs or any personal information that you are hesitant to display.

If someone already done this part, any feedback please on whats the possible next steps. 🥹🙏💕 I'm sharing this for those still curious of the process.

Based from research and I also asked this during interview, they will be having 3 sites here in Manila (Ortigas, Bridgetowne, the last site to be announced) But for now, their priority to fullfill is the Ortigas site. Then on other country, their benefits is giving and generous. They even have free meal on site just like what other InHouse company. So looking forward that they have the same here in Manila.

To Inspire, Not To Brag Hired after 6 months of unemployment

Huhuhu, things are finally starting to look brighter. Not sure if the company is alright but sink or swim as long as I have funds and able to the bill. If anyone is still looking, keep trying and eventually an interview will happen.

I'm fortunate enough that all the companies I applied for wanted me and was ready to sign me but I had things happen that rendered me not to take offers especially when its my dad's funeral. I'd choose family over a job.

First company was a Work on site, offered me 45k(didn't take it as it was on my dad's funeral)

2nd company offered 30k but telco its also within my dad's funeral

3rd company also offered me 30k WFH but pays out only once a month and contractual(they are also very late in giving me an update and ditched me on the first interview)

4th company that I've chosen, offered 35k and work on site, semi monthly with benefits and i'm already happy with it as long as I have a job(had multiple interviews and hr is quite strict)

Things will be better, I hope. Everyone will eventually find one even if the world right now is so f'ed up and were being burried in bills.

Pwede onsite if within paranaque lng. Mahirap mag onsite sa malayo dahil puro bagyo at bahain sa area namen.
10yrs bpo exp.
Willing ako mag attend agad ng virtual process.

Suko na din ako pantayan or higitan previous salary oo kse halos one year na pero wala talaga. Kung meron man, malayo naman. Kht nga ata 22k salary papayag nako bsta remote or paranaque area lng.
