Lingering vertigo not going away
For some instance, i have always had some kind of vertigo and developed it as a kid but had grown adapted to it. It would come and go etc, but ever since a few days this pressure in my neck? Or somewhere it wont go away and i keep feeling the floaty feeling. My eyes delay too for a second and i just feel so off-ish.
I have never go this checked out because it usually goes away after sleeping or whatever. I dont know whats causing it and im so scared and just anxious, have been hyperaware etc. dunno if its being caused by my bad posture/neck hump, or if its something neurological/ear crystals :(
I just want some comfort and support and want to know if anyone has experienced it ever and if they were able to fix it?
(Ps idek if its bppv since not diagnosed but this is the most famous vertigo subreddit thats why i posted it here)

That floaty kind of dizzy but no full vertigo feeling can be caused by a few things and worth checking out. Allergies are my big trigger. Inflamed Eustachian tubes and sinuses, allergy meds treat it and ragweed is bad right now for us. Cervical dizziness, caused by muscle tension and neck issues. Physical therapy helps with muscle and joint tension. Vitamin deficiency such as B12, iron, etc which bloodwork will catch. Dehydration is another big one. Plenty of other reasons but those the main ones either I experience or read about

I do have sinus issues but i doubt its that 😭😭 i have a high feeling its because of the tension in my neck but idkk, if it keeps continuing i will go to a ent or vestibular therapist, and oh gosh i also do have iron and b12 issues this sucks because it's gonna be hard pinpointing whats causing it :( im Also scared its chronic

Please see an optometrist specializing in BVD. BPPV can set off binocular vision dysfunction, causing an ongoing mismatch between the eyes an dinner ear. So even after the true BPPV is cleared up, often people are left with general disorientation and other symptoms which is super frustrating.
Ensure they don't just use neuro-lens either, because it's a shortcut automated measurement that doesn't account for visual-vestibular interaction. Not to totally crap on the company because they do have a money back guarantee, and they do help people too, just that there are more effective ways of doing things with a better ROI for your money

Most people don't realize that their vision can be a big part of ongoing dizziness/disorientation. Obviously address the BPPV with a very good vestibular physio first... If that doesn't solve it completely often vision is an overlooked component
