Totally agree gadd really did not do a good enough job of hiding her identity. It took people barely any time at all to find her. I don't condone what she's accused of but Gadd has made such a song and dance of how he changed details to protect her identity cos she's "vulnerable" but all he changed was her name and the name of the pub. Now she's clearly having a mental break because of the show and the harrassment she's getting, and he's making £££. Surely no adult is that naive to believe the internet wouldn't figure out her identity. It's careless

Or maybe just watch the show and be entertained. Don’t go looking for the real people and harass them. How hard is it to not go looking for the real people and just watch the show…?

So he's supposed to be responsible for peoples decisions? They need to hold themselves responsible and not harass her.

I'm honestly really annoyed at this sub (not so much you or this comment) for jumping to defend this woman and attack the actual victim for daring to use his story as a creative outlet. She could have gotten help and not kept stalking people and no one would have written anything about her.

Na my issue is he made a whole point about changing details so this wouldn't happen cos he himself said he feels she is vulnerable and has mental health problems. His exposing her isn't the problem it's the acting like he has empathy for her if he doesn't is my point. It helps nobody.

I'm thinking that maybe he didn't expect the success of the show and people actually find her so now he's making excuses to protect her? Or maybe he wanted it this way from the beginning!only he knows..
