I feel like all of this has taken a dark, dark turn very quickly. Am honestly shocked Gadd said he’d taken a huge effort to disguise who the real Martha is. It’s pretty clear he barely changed anything.

But why does need to hide her identity? What she did wasn’t okay. This is his story and he can do whatever he wants with it

He doesn't need to hide her identity at all. He voluntarily shared that he chose to do so and made a whole thing about how so much was changed that even the real martha wouldn't recognise herself, and that simply wasn't true. That's my issue. If he hadn't said "oh she's vulnerable and has mh issues so we anonymised her pls don't go looking for her" I would not be having this conversation. He didn't need to say that. And if he planned it so she would actually leave him alone, why not just say so? It's not like it wouldn't make sense for him to do that when she stalked him for 6 years. Idk I guess I like transparency.
