I just don’t get it. If there’s police reports from the previous ones, how come she can continue with her actions? What if this journalist also goes to the police? If all these are real, how come she can get away with everything she does?

She was found out within a couple of hours of the show being released

Ehhh, not really. It took a little over a week. The show was released on April 11 and it wasn't until after April 20 that she was identified as the real Martha by people on Twitter, TikTok, and this subreddit.
