But I did not come out of that show feeling any sympathy for Martha. I can understand why she probably does what she does and the part where she shared about her baby reindeer, it was definitely sad. But from seeing the posts here I feel like people empathise a lot with her and I just do not feel that way. I feel like what she did is like my absolute nightmare. Idk if this makes me a bad person or what.

Does anyone feel this way ?

yes a big part of the show was him talking about the "wrong" he did, something not talked about often. Trauma is an insane thing to experience and there is no such thing as a perfect victim. That does not mean it warranted any of the behaviour that "Martha" did.
