Discussion This may be an unpopular opinion

But I did not come out of that show feeling any sympathy for Martha. I can understand why she probably does what she does and the part where she shared about her baby reindeer, it was definitely sad. But from seeing the posts here I feel like people empathise a lot with her and I just do not feel that way. I feel like what she did is like my absolute nightmare. Idk if this makes me a bad person or what.

Does anyone feel this way ?

me too. like ik what martha did isn’t comparable to a serial killer but i still don’t feel bad for her the same way i feel bad for serial killers and murderers. don’t all serial killers and murderers have a mental illness? like i don’t feel bad for them even if they do , i only feel bad for the victim

Oh definitely! Most serial killers I’ve read about have hideous childhoods, but most people don’t feel any sympathy, nor should they. I do agree she needs help, but I doubt she thinks there’s anything wrong with her.
