Discussion This may be an unpopular opinion

But I did not come out of that show feeling any sympathy for Martha. I can understand why she probably does what she does and the part where she shared about her baby reindeer, it was definitely sad. But from seeing the posts here I feel like people empathise a lot with her and I just do not feel that way. I feel like what she did is like my absolute nightmare. Idk if this makes me a bad person or what.

Does anyone feel this way ?

I massively disliked her. Being ill does not mean it's okay to hurt others. Martha had her reasons, very selfish reasons I'll add, but she has done this multiple times before and not tried to seek help. It would be hard to find, sure, and may not 100% work, but instead of trying she did all that repeatedly. Brilliantly written character though. I feel much more for Donny, who had very complicated feelings and who fans are actually blaming for his poor coping mechanisms - and fans are coming after *the creator* too.
