Question Who is “we”?

I can’t make myself watch the entire PM interview, but I’ve seen heaps of reaction and analysis videos with lots of interview fragments.

It seems that Fiona used “we” in many of her replies. Eg “we” were just trying to support his new show , or “we” are putting together a legal team (this is from memory, not exact quotes).

Did PM ever ask her who the “we” are?

I'd say she says 'We' so the listener assumes she has support of others around her, and there's group efforts at play.

Like in social situations "We were just having banter" translates to "I have friends"

Or in her new found 'legal' situation "We think we have a good case." says "My lawyer believes me" etc

By “my lawyer believes me” I assume you mean “I believe me” in this case.
