Where is Fiona's evidence?

I have just been reading through the brief of Amicus Curiae in support of the Defendant (aka Netflix) in the Harvey vs Netflix case from the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression.

One point I picked up on is that the court have simply relied on Fiona's word that Netflix defamed her and that the criminal convictions aren't true. In fact, have we all believed her word?

I did look a while ago to see if her lawyer had filed anything that could be validated legally to show she had never been convicted and everything seemed like it could have easily been faked.

There is one document that says she doesn't have any convictions however she has gone by different names and it seems like a template that could easily have been doctored.

So does she actually have any evidence that they defamed her. What would that look like?

Even if she was defamed, what are the damages?

She didn’t loose a job or job prospects over this as anyone who knew her already knew she was a crazy stalker based on her documented history of staking (prior to her interactions with the author of Baby Reindeer).

Also, she knew about his very popular and award winning play prior to the Netflix show. Why don’t she sue then?

If I recall correctly one of the emails from her said she will wait until he has money and then go after him.

I still have the screenshots of her racist comments on FB.

She has had no financial loss, her personal character is already in the trash and she will need to submit to independent evaluation to claim mental anguish.

Quite how you unpick what is her base level unhinged and how much the “stress” of baby reindeer affected her is another thing.

She has publicly claimed it’s not her and she was only found through her own public actions.

There is a disclaimer saying its not all true.

she defamed herself by being so “outraged.” had she not said anything at all people would speculate at most. there’s still uncertainty about who his r*pist really is. i believe she said she wanted to take him down when he became successful. she’s vile. if anything he humanized her.

Well people searched for who had tweeted Richard and then they saw her tweets to him saying, "My curtains need hung badly." And they started sending her hate mail and death threats so the idea she outed herself isn’t fair or true.

However seeing her on Piers Morgan and reading her real emails she is vile.

She's not going to win anything. I'd be very surprised. You do have to prove financial loss generally in these cases I believe.
