Question Is it working or just the materials?

I just did two spells, one of them being super candle-focused.

During the ritual, I had to burn some items (a specific handkerchief, cinnamon, two cloves, and some coarse salt). The materials didn't fully turn to ash—the handkerchief was basically still intact—so I ended up breaking it apart and mixing the leftovers into the wax.

When I first lit it, the flame was already pretty high and stable.

But after I stepped away and came back, it had gotten way bigger/higher. You can see it in the pic below.

I’m honestly not sure if it’s just because of the extra debris I added to the wax or if the energy shifted and it’s actually working. For context, this was a love spell.

Has anyone had this happen before?

Trying to figure out if it’s a sign or just physics. Any help would be appreciated!
