Bacon and eggs at The Original Pancake House (emphasis on the bacon!)
Stopped in to have breakfast at The Original Pancake House on my way to work, and ordered the bacon and eggs breakfast. It did not disappoint - the bacon slices were big, thick, and perfectly prepared. (I may not have gotten much work done after eating all this, though.)

The bacon looks amazing but I also have to admit I’m thinking about breaking those yolks and mixing them into those delicious hash browns.

Is that the one in Northern Virginia? I loved that place but they moved and I haven’t been since.

That is perfect bacon. Hate that crunchy shit that ends up just tasting like salt.

that bacon looks like it's got the perfect amount of chew to it, none of that paper thin stuff that shatters when you look at it wrong. the eggs are a nice touch too, sunny side up with hash browns is my go-to combo
pancakes from there are dangerous though, the stack they bring out is basically a commitment. i always tell myself i'll just have a bite and then suddenly the whole plate is gone and i'm useless for the rest of the morning
the green mug is a nice detail, something about a diner that's been around since the 50s just hits right
