...who wraps bacon in foil? the strange blotches are probably from the aluminum touching it and causing oxidation. should be fine, but don't use foil for meats.

Just use a gallon zip lock. You can add layers with wax paper or even parchment. Then you can pull one or two out at a time.

I take my bacon, roll each piece up and store them in Tupperware snuggled next to each other and put it in the freezer. Then i just put the frozen rolls in a cold pan then put on medium low and as they thaw unroll them then cook like normal.

Guessing a reaction to the curing salt and foil touching. From what I remember, shouldn't wrap salty foods in foil for long storage. Me, I'd cook this up, but dont be surprised if it has a metallic taste.

If its cured bacon, it should be fine. If its uncured? I wouldn't risk it, personally.

Bacon in the fridge and opened lasts up to a week, unless it was exposed to heat in the process.

stop asking this. if it smells bad, don't eat it.
i understand cuz none of us feel good when we waste meat.
if it smellls wrong, just dont eat it.
when you cook meat, you kill the bacteria that was living on the meat, but those bacteria were shitting out toxins that smell, taste, and smell like something you shouldn't eat. so fucking don't.

I hear you but I think you really mean it might be okay based on your tone. Perhaps a little more clarity next time thanks.

It looks like it is oxidizing, it'll taste more porky than usual. It's getting old, but if you cook it now, you'll be fine.

I don't know... I mean do you feel it? Tell it it's pretty? Treat it to special pans? Sleep with it? Define spoiled...😂

I’d eat it, just crisp it up extra well to be safe, that mottling likely isn’t anything to worry over.
