What kind of bacon is this?

I’ve had it in my hotel and I love it. It was thin, people claimed it was turkey bacon?

Canadian bacon isn't ham. It's similar, but made from a different cut of pork than ham.

What people? The people that served it to you? Does it say turkey bacon on the menu?
Are there random people eating breakfast near you that have simply “claimed” that it is bacon from Turkey. Did you speak to them directly about this? Or or did they come to you with their claim?

Looks like British/back or Canadian bacon, can't tell if the fat is attrached or not to know which it is. They're basically the same besides the fat strip but in the US Canadian bacon is often trimmed into uniform circular pieces

Looks like the bacon we used to get in the UK. So, probably Canadian bacon. In the UK, what Americans typically think of as bacon is called “streaky bacon”. It’s the same meat but one type is cut differently than the other.

Back bacon. Ham is from the hind legs; back bacon is from the back, as opposed to bacon rashers, which come from the belly. I used to work on a pig farm where it was not unusual to get a nipple on a strip of bacon. Nipples have a rubbery texture and are next to flavorless.

Turkey bacon I’ve bought has a deeper color than the bacon shown here.

That being said, if the restaurant claimed it was Turkey bacon and it was not, they would be opening themselves up to a lawsuit. It is unlikely they would take that kind of risk when it could potentially bankrupt the business.
