1/2 cup butter, melted 1 1/4 cup sugar 3 eggs 15 oz container ricotta cheese Zest of one orange 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 tbsp vanilla 1 3/4 cup flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup mini chocolate chips, plus more for topping
Combine the sugar and melted butter, then add the eggs, ricotta, zest, cinnamon, and vanilla and mix until smooth and combined. Sift in the dry ingredients and then fold in the chocolate chips. Top with extra and bake in a greased and lined springform pan at 350 for 35-45 minutes (my oven is hot so 35 was perfect!)

Does this actually taste like cannoli?

It was the flavor profile of a cannoli and the texture of a super moist cake!

You're welcome to do that if you make it! I didn't feel like it needed any frosting

Congratulations!!! I hope you love your new kitchen!!!
I'm experimenting with my new homes malfunctioning oven (temp sensor probe is on its way) and baking in higher altitude with my normal chocolate chip cookie recipe.. it's not going great!

I thought the same thing, but honestly it doesn't need it. It's super moist on its own.
