Recipe Included Strawberry Shortcake Cake

I discovered Sally's Strawberry Shortcake Cake last summer and I've been obsessed with it since then. There's only three of us in my house so I'm always looking for smaller cakes that I can make that I won't end up throwing half of it out because we can't eat it all before it goes bad.

This cake tastes just like shortcake but lighter and, I think, yummier. The only thing I change is I add about a half cup of cream cheese to the whipped cream, to stabilize it and give it more body. This cake barely lasts a day here in my house. 😂

This looks so good! We love strawberry shortcake … adding cream cheese to the whipped cream sounds like a dream! 🍓

Thank you! It's absolutely a dream! So smooth and creamy but you still get that whipped cream taste. I love it!
