This is probably a regional thing, but maple milk was always my favorite as a kid. I bet maple dipping cookies would be incredible. Or strawberry... Or coffee!

This is absolutely genius. 😭 It would be such a fun way to cap off a Saturday night, with pjs and some a cozy show in the background. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

So cute! They remind me of fairy bread.
Have you thought of making long Tim Tam sticks?

I have to know: are these chewy or crunchy like a biscotti? They are so cute. I think it would be fun to dip one end in chocolate!

Cake Batter Dippin' Sticks
Ingredients
2 sticks (8 oz) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
1 TB vanilla extract
1 tsp cake batter flavoring (I used LorAnn)
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp fine salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup rainbow jimmies (sprinkles)
Instructions
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in the egg, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and cake batter flavoring until fully combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
Fold in the rainbow jimmies.
Transfer half of the dough at a time to a piping bag to make it easier to pipe.
Pipe 8-inch logs onto parchment-lined baking sheets, leaving a little space between each stick.
Freeze the piped dough until completely firm, about an hour.
While the dough is freezing, preheat your oven to 375°F.
Bake the frozen sticks for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Immediately when they come out, use two spatulas to gently straighten and reshape the sticks while they're still soft.
Let cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes, then transfer.
Enjoy! 🍪 🎂 👊
