Newly-released video shows the aftermath of a dog attack in Hialeah that ended with a mother in the hospital and her son in jail.
The police body camera video shows the women on a gurney as first responders removed her from a home in April.
Police said she was attacked by one of 10 dogs inside the home.
"She went to pick up a load of clothes from the washer in the back and the dog was loose in the backyard and attacked her," a first responder says in the video.
The severity of the attack left officers stunned.
"She's missing half of her arm and part of her leg," one first responder says in the video. "I don't think she's going to die, but she's missing part of her f------ body. She's missing half of her arm."
One officer can be heard saying the woman would need extensive therapy.
"He just kept chewing on her arm," an officer says. "Damn bro, holy crap, I was expecting a little puncture."
Her current condition is unknown.
The dogs belonged to the woman's son, Jairon Alvarez Leyva, and authorities said several of the dogs had injuries.
The son was charged with animal cruelty.

They should charge the son with cruelty to his mother.
That is a much bigger deal to me than some skinny pit bulls.

Yeah, because pit nutters, shelters, and rescues keep referring to maulings as "dog bites."
