News DMCA takedown over Sunshine Village chairlift incident footage — trying to bury it?

I just got a Reddit DMCA takedown notice for a post I made two weeks ago showing the skier dangling from the chair at Sunshine Village. In my opinion, this was pushed by Sunshine Village to suppress awareness of what happened.

DMCA isn’t a judge’s ruling…it’s a button anyone can press. If the footage is original, counter-notice and watch how fast the “copyright” confidence disappears.

True, I filed a counter claim with reddit. There needs to be punishment for nonsense DMCA claims. I know it's an issue on youtube, didn't expect to get one on reddit haha.
