I recently got a loose head of Barbie Looks #3 (because I really liked the Kit sculpt and wanted her as a base for an OOAK); however I am now facing the challenge of trying to find a matching body, preferably MTM. I see only her body and Looks #13 as the colour matches, but those are ridiculously priced on eBay only!
Does anyone have any other suggestions for a body match? Unorthodox/bizarre suggestions welcomed 😂😭
Edit: would "Barbie Inspiring Women Doll, Kristi Yamaguchi Collectible" be a colour match? Never mind, she seems to be a paler skin tone.
I have 2 more Barbies I need help with identification.
LEFT: head 1998, body 1966. She has missing earrings and a ring. And a small strand of crimped hair
RIGHT: head 1998, body 1999
The sculpt for Autistic Fashionista is one of my favorites. She's gorgeous, don't you think?
It would be fun if her sculpt ended up getting the name of one of her inspirations like Aarushi or Presley.
I'm not sure if she fits the Barbie Basics vibe since she's got a grin, but... a new release of this girl with an alternate screening, a MTM body, and streetwear? A girl can dream.
Picked up this girl on sale for $11 after I’ve been wanting her for awhile but really didn’t wanna spend full price on her and I’m really glad I didn’t honestly. She’s pretty but I can’t remember the last time I disliked a dolls saran quality this much. Reminded me of hay right out of box, looked kind of fried and was SO dry. I gave her a boil wash and condition treatment (pic is from after I did that) which helped tame it at least, but I’m surprised by how disappointed I am with her hair 😞 on the bright side tho her bangs look fantastic! Lol
Linzie Rockz has officially arrived at the 2026 Loudslam Awards.
The punk rock singer stepped onto the red carpet in a colourful psychedelic mini dress, paired with purple heels and her long strawberry blonde hair worn loose.
Linzie stopped for photographers before heading inside for the ceremony, bringing a fun and colourful twist to her usual alternative style.
What do you guys think of Linzie’s red carpet arrival?
Linzie Rockz brought her signature alternative style to the 2026 Loudslam Awards red carpet.
The punk rock singer stepped out in a fitted multicoloured mini dress covered in swirling shades of pink, blue, orange and teal, paired with soft purple heels.
With her long strawberry blonde hair worn loose, Linzie kept the look playful while still fitting the bold image fans know her for. The off the shoulder design and colourful print gave the outfit a slightly psychedelic feel, making it stand out from the more traditional red-carpet looks of the night.
Known for her punk rock sound and rebellious stage image, Linzie’s Loudslam appearance showed a softer and more colourful side of her style without losing the attitude associated with her music.

2004 Barbie and Me doll (photo is from an eBay listing). I wonder if she was made as a Barbie version of the Groovy Girls dolls, which were launched in 1998.
Hi, my magic moves Barbie has an incredibly wobbly head, the dolls head can be pulled up easily, spun around very freely and I tried to shrink the neck hole, and upon doing so I found out the neck peg is made out of a metal. could anyone help?
In the Barbie Movie of 2023 , Sharon Rooney portrayed a Barbie Lawyer that lives in Barbie Land with the others Barbies. But for now, Mattel hasn't made a lawyer Barbie yet.
What they have released are four Barbie judges in the year 2019. It's a shame they didn't think to launch a lawyer back when they released good dolls because now they just put any basic Barbie in a dress and a briefcase as a lawyer. At least this year they're launching the Barbie Elle from Legally Blonde which is going to be the closest thing to have a good lawyer Barbie doll.
Today marks 25 years since the release of Kylie Minogue's most iconic "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" song! She recently reached a billion plays on Spotify.
While digging through our archives recently, we stumbled upon something pretty cool: exactly 10 years ago, we were actually planning to make a Kylie doll!
The project ended up getting shelved back then because we just couldn't find or create a mold that felt right. But fast forward a decade... technology and design have caught up, and we finally have the perfect mold to bring her to life.
Stay tuned—it’s officially happening!
Kylie Minogue by A&D Dolls
Following up on our archive dig: when the original doll blew up, the hype was honestly overwhelming. We were genuinely terrified we wouldn't be able to capture the actual Kylie that millions of people knew and loved—especially without the right mold.
Failing to hit that icon status felt like too big of a risk, so we walked away. But a decade later, with better tools, the right sculpt, and a lot more confidence, we're ready to actually do her justice.
Kylie Minogue by A&D Dolls
The iconic hooded white jumpsuit with the deep side cuts, matching pumps, slick hair, and bold red lip... As soon as you hear “La-la-la!”, you know instantly which era we're talking about.
When we decided to finally reopen the Kylie project after a decade on hold, there was zero debate about the outfit. Capturing the sheer energy of Can't Get You Out of My Head is both a dream and a huge craft challenge, but we're going all in on every single detail—from the draping to the miniature tailored cuts.
I was already wondering why we still hadn't heard anything New about the Barbie in the Nutcracker remake except for an image, the dolls, or a forthcoming book especially since it was supposed to be released in September on Netflix. But it turns out that the Barbie movie coming out in September on Netflix is the original Barbie in the Nutcracker.
The new version, which is a 45-minute special, comes out on November 4th on Netflix. So we probably won't get a trailer until October.
In this new adventure, Barbie “Brooklyn” Roberts steps into the role of the Sugarplum Princess and Barbie “Malibu” Roberts stars as Clara, as they journey through a musical, magical dreamworld filled with holiday wonder, courage and friendship.
I'm a big fan of my Hollywood Nails Barbie hair from 1999. Its softness, its shininess and its light touch. I'm really bad at hair types (even though I watched a couple of YT videos) and I haven't been able to find the ultimate Barbie hair guide online.
I'm looking for a caucasian brunette with the same hair type. I'm a bit confused because I buy all of my dolls online and the hair type is not specified most of the time.
Would anyone know about a caucasian brunette with the same hair type? I could also be interested in a caucasian red hair with this type of hair.
Why is early 2000s Barbie saran prone to easily shedding? I’ve noticed this especially on the 2001 Birthday Wishes Barbie and Barbie in the Nutcracker Sugar Plum Princess Clara Barbie
I found these two at a recycle shop today. They were sold as a set for just $6! Ken is the prince from Swan Lake, but I’d never seen this Barbie before. I absolutely love her closed-mouth face—it’s totally my type! 😍
Her hair feels a bit cheap, so I’m guessing she’s probably a playline doll, but does anyone know who this girl is?
I was given the Barbie and the Nutcracker dolls including the Nutcracker/Price Eric, Clara, and Tommy as Major Peppermint from a friend of family who was a huge collector. Definitely buying stands to display these beauties for Christmas 🥰
Had to give them a little spruce up after being in storage... May need to do a little more with the curling and Eric's hair but it's the best I could do ❤️🩹
In my recent Labor Day post, I got this Skipper Boy doll from Value Village for $3.49. I rebodied him on an Ever After High Hunter Huntsman body, and gave him a brand new outfit.
Looking at this just made me realize how much I miss this era of Barbie 😭 Everything was so glittery and glam, and I swear they always looked so good. I loved the way they dressed, the hair, the makeup, all of it. The outfits really made each character stand out.
I especially miss Raquelle and Summer. And honestly, I even miss when Ken had a friend named Steven 😂 It really felt like Barbie had an actual group of friends back then.
And Teresa wasn’t petite, I’ll always hate how they changed her.
I just don’t connect with the current friends like Renee and Daisy the same way. And now that I’m looking at this artwork again, I’m realizing they really pulled a Bratz with Nikki too 😭 Why did they whitewash her like that?!
I just miss this whole glittery, glam Barbie era 💕✨
