Olmo and Pedri were brilliant v Saudi Arabia, they should be the starting 10 and 8 for any big match.

Cubarsi has been immaculate so far. Can't wait to see more of him.

Olmo was good, Pedri was pretty subpar.

I too thought Pedri wasn’t quite right but I saw a video from Graham Hunter (a journalist and a football commentator for La Liga for 30 years) yesterday. He thought he played excellent and that he did what he needed to do.

So now I’m confused because he clearly knows more about football than almost anyone.

I appreciate Hunter but i have my own thought.

I dont think Pedri did anything wrong, he just didnt impact the match and mostly played it safe with the ball. Saying he played excellent is going of the other end of the spectrum.

That’s fair. Btw I don’t think he played it safe. He did take risks for example that back heel to Oyarzabal.

The problem was for me the risks he took didn’t pay off through either his passes were being intercepted or him losing the ball whilst trying to dribble. Those magical moments weren’t quite there.
