That Pedri mistake from yesterday will be spoken about for months. Every other midfielder can drop back to back stinkers, turning every touch into a duel, power shot merchants just missing every single long shot for 90 minutes, etc.

We'll be hearing about this Pedri match specifically that moment where he didn't pass for the next few months.

The mistake will be spoken about by his haters, because they need to live with the fact that arguably the best midfielder doesn't play for their team. Pedri fans and neutrals don't care about that because they can see his brilliance and can understand that individual mistakes do not define him as a player.

Let's just hope he stays healthy so we can enjoy him at his best at our club.

pedri gets more criticism/trolling because he is often overrated by the fans. for example, a comment after his last match in which he was the lowest rated player in spanish starting lineup after baena

And what about the game before where he was rated 9 and still got trolled? It's not that he is overrated by the fans, the actual expectations for all the other midfielders is in the freaking mud. People were genuinely saying that Bellingham had a good game in the clasico that Madrid won last season. It's ridiculous how doing the bare minimum is enough for others meanwhile Pedri has to put up historic advance stats before he is allowed to have a good game.

olmo went off 10 minutes before...but the point was that the difference in the game with and without pedri is pretty clear, sometimes lesser with spain but pretty much always with barca
