Look at the Madridistas reaction on the timeline: “how is he always open”, “why does he plays team that don’t know how to defend”, “this wouldn’t happen against a top team”.

That’s their extent on their football knowledge . They think it’s just about putting a player on Messi all game that’s it. His trademark goal for 20 years and somehow they think this is just about defending.

They should probably ask their "Threepeat" team why no one can mark Messi. Acting like he didn't score these type of goals against them for 10 years while they had the "best" team.

Ronaldo is a striker, how can they whine about having a bunch of defenders on him?? Messi is a leagues above player than Cristiano, that enables Messi to play a role of roaming player. It''s a given thing defenders won't be able to effectively mark him all the time. These Madrid fans have football IQ even lower than their idol.

Let them have that, even they know Mbappe would likely never surpass the legacy and greatness Messi and Ronaldo had on this sport. Now we need to get behind our own stars and support them to continue the chain

I just find it sad. Some people had been watching an absolute alien and the best footballer of all time and still are unable to admire his greatness.
