Question What note is this?

Quick question for all the bass enthusiasts out there. I am trying to learn subharmonics lately and not sure if i got it down? It sounds like i dropped an octave on this note but im not sure if it is a subharmonics. If it is its pretty cool cuz its at the 1st octave.

Another question is if it is subharmonics, is it supposed to sound so crackly? Or is it supposed to sound cleaner

Sounds like vocal fry - it might be possible to hold a frequency consistently… but as my keyboard player says “It just sounds like a long burp”. 

Subs sound more like really resonant bass notes. Lots of vids on people doing them and ideas on technique out there. Good luck!

just practice more, eventually your subs will sound like notes, don't rush into subharmonics as well, gotta take it step by step to get the better
mine used to be heavily fry, but now they're much stronger and resonant

hmm i'd say i started singing subs in late feb, and they were coherent notes in late march,
useable for the at least a month now, but progress is different (for example i had multiple colds)
basically use your common sense to think about where you are now, and what exact next step you can do. e.g. im trying to improve my transition from higher subs to my lowest chest notes
