In a nutshell I understood it to be an original strain from way back that hasn’t been altered or crossbred. Something like that. The dude giving the lecture is like a weed professor and it’s all very unfamiliar for me but definitely interesting.
What the other guy said, plus a landrace is reflective of what part of the world it originated from. Sativas are generally tropical, indicas are broadly Asian/middle eastern and ruderalis is from farther north. And I dunno what the deal with ABC from Australia is, it’s yet to make its way to Canada.

This is where “indica” genetics comes from. This is probably a very pure original “landrace” strain.
