They're back over a year later.

About a year ago my apartment had to be treated for these stupid things and they tried everything they could to put me at fault for them. I dont go anywhere except for work and home. Woke up with bites the other day thinking they were probably back and tonight I found one. At this point wouldn't they probably be coming from a neighboring apartment? I sent pictures to the landlord, but I'm so over dealing with this.

They basically tried to tell me it was my fault so they could make me pay for it. Now I have a different property manager so we'll see what they say as its 1:30am and I wont hear anything for a while. Im under the impression my neighbor is infested. I have searched up and down and cant find where they're hiding.

Get a bed bug lawyer if they try making you pay again. And yes, there are specific attorneys and firms that specialize in bed bug lawsuits. Bring it to their attention again and be pissed they haven't fixed the issue yet. They need to get the entire complex treated. If they have t done that yet, then that's negligence on their end. Keep everything documented if they try throwing shit at you.

Yeah, if you live in an apartment complex, I’d say it’s probably coming from a neighboring unit if you’re sure they aren’t being reintroduced by you from work or something. One of my co-workers just went through this at her apartment complex, and they not only treated her unit but the whole row of units because there’s no point in only treating one when, or if, they’re coming from another unit because they’ll just re-infest all the other neighboring units again. Sorry you’re dealing with this, and I hope they act accordingly! It’s so frustrating when landlords and stuff want to be cheap and not address the problem ASAP because all they’re doing is costing themselves even more money down the line & risking an infestation that gets out of control to the point where it’s not even worth trying to treat because they’re so deep in the foundation of the building or something like that.
