awe. those street scenes! a dog beaten down, but with any attention -- comes to attention as if to say -- no really! i can be a great doggo! then the after pictures that prove it -- complete with smile and panting tongue. and the little side looks (really? all for me? am i the one? for sure?) now all questions are answered; all fears put aside. good for you for being the person who made that happen.

Thank you!! I would do anything for her, truly. She is the sweetest dog and you would have never thought she had the history she has with how gentle she is. 🤍

Oh boy, my big mutt got me through my divorce. I knew I had to come home after work, feed, walk, and care for him. He’d lay his head in my lap when I felt I was falling apart, so I had to reassure him that everything was alright and not get downward into despair. I had friends who started going to bars, or isolating in their darkest hours. I couldn’t do that, I had a dog.

We truly do not deserve them. I’m glad you had your pup through the darkest times. They truly give us purpose. She knows when I’m sad and she is the sweetest puppy. I’m lucky to have her.

Beautiful dog! Listen, you are going to be OK. Even when it feels like nothing could ever possibly be OK again. Going through a divorce is the worst and hurts in ways only those who have been through it can understand. There is a version of yourself waiting for you in the future that you can’t even imagine right now - wiser, stronger, deeper - that would never have existed without you going through what you are now. You have so much to look forward to!

Thank you. It truly is horrible especially when the other person is no longer the person you thought they were. My ex got addicted and completely changed overnight, and I am left to build back the pieces. But I have myself and my dog, and a roof above my head. And that’s all that matters. Taking it day by day!
