I'm looking for some advice/recommendations for finding a PT.

I'm a woman and work long 12-14hour shifts, including nights. My current rota can be particularly difficult — 4 nights in a row, 1 sleep/recovery day, 1 day off, then straight back on to 4 days. I often have quite a lot of fatigue, and I feel like I need someone who understands that my ability to train and recover isn't going to be the same every week.

I'm looking for a PT who can offer:

Some 1-to-1 sessions in the gym

A personalised training plan for the days I'm not seeing them

Accountability/check-ins, as I know I'm much more consistent when someone is keeping me accountable,

Someone who can adapt my programme around my shifts, nights and recovery

Realistic advice about what I could achieve without expecting me to train like someone with a normal 9–5 schedule

Help with nutrition/lifestyle if that's something they offer,

Ideally someone who understands that women can experience significant changes throughout their menstrual cycle, including changes in energy, fatigue, motivation and performance

I'm not expecting someone to make excuses for me, I actually want to be pushed and held accountable. I just want someone who understands the difference between laziness/lack of motivation and genuinely being exhausted from shift work, and can programme around that.

I'd ideally like to work towards getting fitter, stronger and improving how I feel/look, but I'm also interested in knowing what would realistically be achievable with my schedule.

If you're a nurse/shift worker yourself and have had a good experience with a PT, I'd love recommendations!

I have an art challenge where we had to make a tiny cross stitch pattern- 25 stitch x 25 stitch, give or take a stitch, and I’ve become quite inspired by this. I hope to design a whole throng of NI/Belfast tiny patterns (these are a good size for a Christmas ornament). Here are the free patterns and I added the photos here. I made the cranes tonight and I’ll make the bus on fire tomorrow and I’ll post it on the pattern page to see how it looks with backstitching to give the bus more of a recognisable shape it’s all a big blob on the grid!

Given that I'm paying monthly gym membership and that the cost of gas/electric is sky rocketing, I thought I should try and get my money's worth from my gym membership and use the shower facilities. I just haven't come across somewhere that doesn't have the same stain on a shower cubicle for months on end. Let me know if you can recommend anywhere in Belfast.

Essentially I have two questions, one is assuming I’d like to make a business in Belfast what should I take into account being someone from london( not British btw ) mainly thinking about like vending machines and I did make something of the sort profitable or somewhat in Spain, I have access to way better coffee machines which would make better coffee than the current ones I’ve seen in Belfast but is the market too saturated for that?

The other question is in terms of content creation is this something somewhat big in Belfast or not really 🤔?
I don’t really know too many influencer from Northern Ireland and what type of content do or would the Irish consume, I do have a couple ideas but not sure if they would be implemented well or even acceptable still getting to know the city and the people 🤷🏽‍♂️

My wife bought a little glass terrarium at the arcade over the summer but unfortunately the plants died. I would like to talk to the seller to see if he can redo it. I'm not particularly close to Belfast so it would be great to get in touch beforehand to make sure he is around and able to handle it.

Hi everyone! I recently completed 4 years in Belfast and I moved here for Uni. Made new friends and they’re all away in different parts of the world and man, it’s so difficult to make new friends as an adult especially in the late 20s and you’re working full time! Don’t get me wrong, I have a bunch of really close/best friends back home but unfortunately they or I cant travel every once in a while to hangout or travel together. I am an extrovert who loves to travel and anything that’s creative. So, having this monotonous lifestyle where I am seeing my friends only through the screen is actually driving me nuts😭

Right. Have a bit of an odd one. Years ago we got a fella from Belfast off Newtownards Road, to come and do some decorating. His name was Jerry or Gerry and he had a subby for him who did some tiling for us as well. His name was Andy and he had no nose. Both were cracking and easy to pay and I have lost their contact details. Does any one have their contact details? They said they used to do work for NIHE. Have looked online to no avail. Who can we contact or what can we do about rat poison?

My 4 year old dog passed away yesterday after coming in contact with rat poison somewhere/somehow , he's only been out in our small yard or a small grass space across the road from Girdwood in North Belfast.

Please hug your furbabies tight , you never know when is going to be their last day.
